Here's How the Program Works

The CA Onsite PC Protection Program has so many essential onsite service tools that adding it to your service protocol is a no-brainer. Each registered member's login gives them access to their own personal Command Center. Business Owners have access to business tools and information that are not available to their techs. Actually, there are two ways to login: Express Login or Administration Login - use the Express Login while you're servicing a customer. It hides all of the business information that you don't want your customers to see.

Get started by getting a detailed analysis of your customer's PC (including a PC inventory) by selecting the Diagnostic Scanner. There are several types of security assessment scans available: Data Protection, Virus, Spyware, Privacy and PC Performance. They're fast; so, run as many as you need to. You'll get a full report detailing your customer's PC vulnerabilities and recommendations on the appropriate CA software solutions. Show this report to your customer and discuss their PC vulnerabilities and software solution options with them. Before purchasing the software, through the Command Center, checkout the end-user rebates to give your customers a great deal. Now you can download the product through the Command Center's electronic software delivery platform. CA's products don't require much hard drive space, and they download pretty quickly. With a software delivery system like, this there's no need to buy inventory and no need to carry products around. You purchase only the software you download when you sell it.

Plus, if their PC fails due to a virus infection after CA Internet Security Suite Plus 2008 is properly installed, they can receive up to $5,000 in technical service and hardware replacement.

Since it is your business, you set your own price scale and fees. The end-user doesn't get a bill from CA - you do. You're program registration automatically discounts CA products at the special program discount rates. Set it up so that each time you sell product through the Command Center your credit card is automatically billed at the discounted rate. Or, you may qualify for a line of credit. Remember, you decide how much to charge your customers - the end-users - for diagnosis, software, installation and configuration.    

We know that computer technicians are not sales people; they're trusted advisors. That's why the CA Onsite PC Protection Program was designed as a platform that streamlines Best Practices for protecting consumers' PCs. CA technical support is available to all registered CA Onsite PC Protection Program members 24x7 for free. For general questions, customer support is available 12x7, and there are online multimedia installation demonstrations for those self-service techs who want a quick and easy explanation.

The Payoff

Do you like the sound of earning Cash Rewards? We hope you do because CA pays registered technicians a cash reward on qualified sales.
